The Opportunity
Associated Engineering, a proudly Canadian, Employee‑owned Company is seeking an experienced and dedicated civil technologist to join our team in our Kelowna office. In this role you will be responsible for collaborating on and contributing to land development, commercial development and linear infrastructure projects both locally and across Canada from BC to Ontario. These projects will encompass a variety of civil engineering principles including site grading, site servicing (storm, sanitary and water), storm‑water management and drainage engineering, erosion and sedimentation control, topographic survey and on‑site inspection services.

What You’ll Do





Deliver innovative solutions for various complex projects and be challenged to develop high quality products for our valued clients in sectors, such as private developers and municipal governments.

Create 2D conceptual drawings.

Create lineal infrastructure and site grading models with Civil 3D.

Create conceptual and preliminary designs.

Prepare detailed design drawings.

Support with tender documents.

Support with engineering analysis.

Support with technical report submissions.

Field surveying and data collection.

Construction inspection and assistance with contract administration.

Coordinate and communicate with multi‑discipline project teams.

Does this sound like you?

Diploma in Design/Drafting Technology from an accredited technical institution.

3+ years’ progressive experience in computer aided drafting and design.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word and Excel).

Excellent communication and organization skills.

Committed team player and the ability to work independently.
