Deveraux Developments is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our expanding team in Edmonton. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and finishing various interior elements in our multi-family residential properties, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. What you bring...
- A minimum of 5 years of carpentry experience.
- Experience with wood framing is required.
- Concrete experience is an asset.
- Zoom Boom or Skid Steer experience is an asset.
- Preferred Journeyman Certification or Red Seal Status, or working towards it.
- A valid Driver’s License.
- Willing to work weekends and overtime.
- Be physically fit for the demanding nature of the job.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to follow direction and work with minimal supervision.
- The ability to direct/train and work alongside a helper or apprentice.
- Solid organizational and effective time management skills.
- Able to safely operate relevant machinery and equipment.
- First Aid qualification is an asset.
You will...
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Accurately record and maintain relevant paperwork.
- Ensure work meets quality control standards.
- Participate in a safe work culture.
- Report concerns and safety hazards to supervisor in a timely manner.
- Comply with all standard operating procedures and policies of Deveraux Development.
- Perform other related duties assigned by the Superintendent.
