TFS seeks an Educational Documentalist for the West Campus in Mississauga, Ontario. This full time position aims to enhance student engagement through effective library and information literacy practices.

As a permanent member of the educational team, you will be instrumental in fostering a robust information culture among students in grades PK to 7. Reporting to the school principal, you will support effective teaching practices tailored to meet diverse learner needs while promoting a multilingual and multicultural perspective. Your role will support both academic and social development through organized events and comprehensive resource management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee library operations and collection management
• Encourage students’ media literacy and critical assessment




• Collaborate with teachers on resource utilization
• Develop initiatives to promote reading and literacy
• Build external partnerships for expanded resource access

Requirements:
• Postgraduate studies in education or library sciences
• Certification in information/documentation required
• Experience in bilingual education settings
• Familiarity with French and Ontario educational programs
• Bilingual abilities in French and English essential
