WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our Transformation and Chief Operating Office (TCOO) as the Senior Director, Change Management. Operating in a high‑visibility, fast‑paced environment, this leader will drive large‑scale technology transformations, culture shifts, and tooling adoption across our global technology teams.
WHAT WILL YOU DO? Design, orchestrate, and execute holistic and integrated OCM strategies across key technology priorities.
Organizational Change Management Strategy & Frameworks.
Framework Design: Build comprehensive OCM frameworks tailored for complex technology and platform transformations.
Playbook Development: Lead creation of implementation playbooks, capability maturity models, and change acceleration tools.
Manager Activism, Activation, & Accountability: Equip first‑line and mid‑level managers to act as advocates for change.
Sponsorship Alignment: Provide messaging, coaching, and strategic guidance to senior technology and business leaders.
Tooling Readiness & Feedback (in partnership with DevOps/Platform Teams): Define and monitor technical readiness gates and establish fast‑feedback loops.
Curriculum, Training, & Incentives (in partnership with HR & Technical Enablement): Design and deploy capability‑based learning paths with an immediate focus on AI‑assisted development.
Gamification, Recognition, & Rewards: Design engagement campaigns leveraging gamification and recognition programs.
Skill Benchmarking: Define skill benchmarks and evaluation mechanisms to measure training effectiveness.
End‑to‑End Process & Operating Model Evolution.
Upstream & Downstream Operating Model: Define a cohesive end‑to‑end operating model with business, product, and functional partners.
Process Redesign: Collaborate with Agile Coaches, Scrum Masters,
and Delivery Leads to redesign workflows and delivery methodologies.
Risk & Compliance Tuning: Re‑engineer compliance, security, and governance review processes for high‑velocity environments.
Workforce & Role Evolution (in partnership with HR): Establish workforce planning framework and refresh hiring practices and criteria.
Role Mapping: Analyze how transformed workflows impact job families and transition roles.
Communications & Engagement (in partnership with Corporate Communications): Formulate and execute comprehensive communication plans.
Leverage existing programming & forums: Integrate change management communications into corporate programs, town halls, engineering forums, hackathons, and newsletters.
Resistance Management & Empathy‑Driven Intervention: Diagnose root causes, coach, and intervene.
Governance, Analytics, & Capacity Management: Manage data‑driven metrics systems, governance framework, and executive reporting.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Must have: Executive Influencing: Proven ability to build trusted‑advisor relationships and influence senior, C‑suite, and technical leaders across a complex, matrixed enterprise.
People Leadership: Outstanding skills in building, inspiring, and mentoring cross‑functional change management and enablement teams.
Technical Bridge‑Building: Ability to bridge highly technical engineering teams, HR departments, and corporate strategy.
Strategic Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
General Requirements: Bachelor's degree (Master’s or MBA preferred, ideally in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Computer Science, or Business Administration).
Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in enterprise change management, technology strategy, or large‑scale digital/agile transformations within a complex enterprise environment.
Deep knowledge of industry OCM frameworks (e.g., Prosci ADKAR, Kotter’s 8‑Step Model) and experience applying them to a highly technical audience.
Strong foundational knowledge of SDLC, Agile, CI/CD, DevOps pipelines and familiarity with emerging AI technologies.
Demonstrated experience partnering with HR functions and technical infrastructure units.
Nice‑to‑have: Change management certification (e.g., Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, CCMP).
Experience working in or consulting for a large‑scale financial services organization or high‑tech enterprise.
Background in software engineering, technical program management, or agile delivery leadership.
