Advance your career as a Community Health Nurse with FNHA in Gitwangak/Gitanyow. This full time role focuses on critical nursing services including immunizations and chronic disease education.
FNHA is looking to expand its team to deliver high-quality nursing services in the unique Gitxsan territory. Your responsibilities will include managing TB screenings, providing STI services, and offering vital support for prenatal and postnatal health. A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and registration with BCCNM are mandatory to apply for this permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer immunizations to community members
• Perform tuberculosis testing and screenings
• Provide prenatal and postnatal guidance and education
• Support chronic disease management within the community
• Promote men's and women's health awareness
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualifications
• Active registration with BCCNM in British Columbia
• Hold Basic Life Support Certification Level C
• At least one year of relevant nursing experience
• Possess a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
