Become a vital part of Kolk Farms Ltd. as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or Apprentice, located in Iron Springs, AB. Your role will ensure our farm machinery and equipment perform at optimal levels, supporting our operations.

This full-time position involves coordinating with the Shop Manager to minimize equipment downtime. You will manage scheduled maintenance of our fleet, including agricultural tractors and highway trucks. We're looking for candidates who prioritize quality workmanship and are keen to expand their skills in a team-oriented work environment. Journeyman status is preferred, but committed apprentices will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate maintenance work and prioritize repairs
• Execute scheduled service for all equipment types




• Diagnostics on electrical and hydraulic systems
• Generate cost estimates for repairs and parts
• Maintain a safe and organized workspace

Requirements:
• Preferred journeyman ticket; apprentices welcome
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean abstract
• 1+ years in agricultural mechanics
• Excellent technical troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality
