The Supervisor, Guest Experience & Ticket Operations is responsible for assisting the Manager and Assistant Manager of Guest Experience & Ticket Operations in leading the day‑to‑day service delivery in venues managed by Regina Exhibition Association Limited (REAL) and helping to maintain a welcoming and safe environment for all guests. This position achieves these goals by providing direction & leadership through exceptional customer service and upholding venue policies in a friendly, professional, and safe manner. The role supervises event day staff and assists management with day‑to‑day functions, including but not limited to ticket sales, event booking, venue operations, guest experience, and finance to maintain a professional, organized, efficient, and customer‑friendly experience.

Responsibilities

Support Guest Experience Management by:

Utilizing Ticketmaster and other applicable ticketing platforms.

Assisting with ticket builds & purchasing processes.

Assisting with the configuration of event builds.

Overseeing ticket sales and admission scanning execution via the ticketing system and scanners.

Troubleshooting any problems during event execution, documenting and actioning corrections in a timely manner.

Receiving, recording and reconciling debit, credit and special vouchers as required.

Supervising the team to maximize all sales opportunities during the transaction process through additional product offerings.

Providing internal and external customers with support by: reading tickets, understanding venue layouts.

Assisting Guest Relations staff to ensure each guest entering a ticketed event has a valid ticket.

Greeting, monitoring,



and navigating guest movement in assigned areas to ensure safety and compliance with building policy.

Limiting access to the venue or specific areas to those with proper, valid tickets.

Demonstrating knowledge of ticket troubleshooting (system, emailing, printing, transferring, etc.).

Leading outstanding customer service.

Providing ticket service for inbound calls and following up on inquiries regarding REAL events.

Assisting with ticket needs.

Overseeing the team's visibility and availability to provide superior service for event attendees.

Resolving escalated customer service issues brought forward by staff.

Requirements

A certification in Event Manager, Project Management, Community Engagement or a combination of relevant education, training and experience is considered an asset.

1–3 years of experience in coordinating and supervising the delivery of large‑scale events or working in a multidisciplinary field.

Experience with a CRM system and ticketing systems is an asset.

The successful candidate must possess and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check (CRC).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well as part of a team.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Knowledge in Microsoft Suites and Event Pro.

Knowledge of event management.

Ability to deliver on objectives in stressful environments and fast‑paced situations.

Ability to multitask.

Ability to plan, execute and deliver on various simultaneous tasks in a timely manner while working independently.

Strong organizational and time‑management skills.

Attention to detail, creativity and professionalism.
