As part of Spencer Engineering’s Mine Hoist Division, you’ll work under the guidance of seasoned professionals in a supportive environment. Your mechanical design expertise will be essential as you navigate complex challenges in system design, assessment, and modernization. The role entails approximately 25% travel to client sites across North America to gather essential data.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and review technical drawings and specifications
• Conduct design work using industry-standard software
• Make site visits for validation and documentation
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
• Manage project timelines and deliverables efficiently
Requirements:
• Mechanical Engineering Technology diploma required
• 4 to 7 years of relevant design experience
• Progress toward CET Certification is an asset
• Proficient with design/drafting software and Microsoft Office
• Strong analytical and communication capabilities
