We’re searching for a Senior Insurance Advisor. Westland Insurance Group is growing and has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Insurance Advisor at our Red Deer, AB location. Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional client service while representing Westland Insurance professionally across phone, email, and in‑person interactions.

Assess client needs and provide knowledgeable recommendations across personal lines to ensure the right coverage and protection.

Manage new business, renewals, underwriting, and policy changes while handling more complex insurance cases with accuracy and attention to detail.

Build lasting client relationships by providing proactive support throughout the customer journey, including renewals, claims assistance, and follow‑up communication.

Contribute to business growth by identifying sales opportunities in addition to cross‑selling and up‑selling products.

Support branch success by collaborating with team members, mentoring peers, and assisting with training, reporting, and day‑to‑day operations as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of insurance industry experience,



supported by a Level 2 License and progress toward your CAIB and/or CIP designation (financial support provided).

Strong technical knowledge and confidence handling more complex client needs, with the ability to provide tailored coverage recommendations.

A proven ability to build lasting client relationships, deliver exceptional service, and identify opportunities to grow and retain business.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail, allowing you to effectively manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy.

A team-oriented mindset with a passion for sharing knowledge, mentoring others, and contributing to team success.

Professional, solutions‑focused, and an effective communicator who demonstrates sound judgment and integrity in every client interaction.
