What you'll do Administer and maintain the Salesforce platform, ensuring data integrity and security across all user accounts and profiles.
Collaborate with various departments to gather requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions that enhance productivity and streamline processes.
Develop and implement custom reports and dashboards to provide insights into key metrics and performance indicators, enabling data-driven decision-making.
Manage user access and permissions, providing training and support to staff on Salesforce best practices and features.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Salesforce platform, acting as the primary point of contact for all Salesforce-related inquiries.
Perform regular system audits to ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards, identifying areas for improvement.
Stay up-to-date with Salesforce updates and new features, assessing their potential impact on the organization and implementing relevant changes.
Assist in the integration of third-party applications and tools with Salesforce to enhance functionality and improve user experience.
Document processes, workflows, and system configurations to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base for current and future team members.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge of Salesforce and related technologies.
Collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless data migration and system upgrades, minimizing downtime and disruptions to business operations.
Support the development of training materials and conduct workshops to educate users on recent features and best practices within the Salesforce platform.
Requirements Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
Salesforce Administrator certification is required; additional certifications such as Salesforce Advanced Administrator or Salesforce Platform App Builder are a plus.
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security features.
Proficiency in creating custom reports, dashboards, and workflows within Salesforce.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner.
Experience in user training and support, with a focus on enhancing user adoption and satisfaction.
Familiarity with data management tools and best practices, including data import/export and data cleansing techniques.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Nice to have Experience with Salesforce Lightning and familiarity with its features and functionalities.
Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, or other Salesforce development tools is advantageous.
Previous experience in a non-profit or similar sector is a plus, as it provides insight into our organizational context.
Familiarity with integration tools such as MuleSoft or Zapier to connect Salesforce with other applications.
