Lead transformative innovation as the Executive Director of Innovation Partnerships and Governance with the Government of Alberta. This full-time role in Edmonton shapes policy and governance in a cooperative and strategic environment.

Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Minister, you will provide high-level operational oversight for a skilled team. The Executive Director is key to developing partnerships, policy frameworks, and accountability mechanisms to drive innovation across government and with external stakeholders. You are expected to deliver priority projects while advising senior leadership on strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement governance structures for innovation
• Build relationships with industry and government partners
• Lead the execution of innovation projects from start to finish




• Develop and operationalize policy frameworks for technology
• Advise senior leaders on strategic innovation initiatives

Requirements:
• Extensive senior management experience in government
• Proven ability to drive policy development and innovation
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
• Deep understanding of government systems and processes
• Skills in navigating complex stakeholder environments
