What you'll do Collaborate with HR leadership to develop and implement employee engagement strategies that promote a positive workplace culture.
Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews to attract top talent.
Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring they have a smooth transition into the company and are equipped with the necessary resources.
Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in all personnel documentation.
Support the performance management process by coordinating performance reviews and providing guidance to managers on best practices.
Organize and facilitate training and development programs that enhance employee skills and career progression.




Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other workplace-related concerns.
Assist in the planning and execution of employee engagement events, such as team-building activities and recognition programs.
Monitor and analyze employee feedback through surveys and other tools to identify areas for improvement in the workplace.
Stay updated on HR trends and best practices to ensure that Broccolini remains competitive in attracting and retaining talent.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization.
Support the HR team with administrative tasks and special projects as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the department.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR or people-focused role, preferably within a corporate environment.
Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment legislation in Canada.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with employees at all levels.
Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite,



particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong attention to detail.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
Nice to have Experience with HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and applicant tracking systems.
Certification in Human Resources (e.g., CHRP, PHR) is a plus.
Familiarity with employee engagement tools and methodologies.
Previous experience in a construction or real estate environment is advantageous.
Bilingualism in English and French would be an asset.
Skills & tools Proficient in HR software and tools for recruitment, performance management, and employee engagement.
Strong analytical skills to assess employee data and feedback effectively.
Excellent project management skills to coordinate various HR initiatives and events.
Ability to use social media and professional networks for recruitment and employer branding.
Practical notes This position is based in Toronto, Ontario, and may require occasional travel to other Broccolini locations.
The role may involve working outside of standard hours during peak recruitment periods or special events.
Candidates must have the legal right to work in Canada, and sponsorship is not available for this position.
