This temporary full time role requires a graduate degree in Occupational Therapy and active licensure in BC. Candidates should have a minimum of two years' experience, emphasizing community service. You’ll be responsible for delivering therapy services, consulting with caregivers, and offering educational support throughout the community to enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide community-based Occupational Therapy services to referred clients
• Conduct caregiver consultations to enhance patient support
• Educate clients and families on effective rehabilitation interventions
• Communicate effectively with staff and stakeholders on therapy progress
• Travel regularly between multiple sites to meet client needs
Requirements:
• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Active licensure with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
• Minimum of two years' relevant experience in Occupational Therapy
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Class 5 driver's license for daily travel
