We are seeking a technical leader to guide a team of up to 12 engineers in building reliable, secure, and observable agentic systems that operate within the healthcare sector.

What you'll do Manage the performance, professional growth, and output of a team of up to 12 engineers.
Oversee technical execution and architecture for core components of the AI platform.
Establish standards for delivery speed, system reliability, and incident response.
Translate complex customer requirements into actionable technical roadmaps.
Partner with Product, Design, Deployment, and Security teams to improve platform scalability.
Recruit, onboard, and retain high-performing engineering talent.
Ensure probabilistic AI systems meet the rigorous demands of enterprise healthcare.
Requirements Proven experience leading engineering teams during periods of rapid growth and high ambiguity.
Technical expertise in production software systems,
including architecture and operational excellence.
Practical experience with LLMs, AI agents, model orchestration, and evaluation frameworks.
Solid product judgment with the ability to balance speed, scalability, and quality.
Experience managing performance and coaching engineers to raise the overall talent bar.
Familiarity with enterprise-grade security and healthcare compliance, such as HIPAA, SOC 2, PHI, and audit logging.
Ability to engage directly with technical architecture and production issues while maintaining a high-level view of business goals.
