We are looking for a motivated PCB Design Engineer to join our R&D hardware design team.Job SummaryThe successful candidate will become a key member of the design engineering community of the Signal Integrity Products business unit. You will contribute by delivering innovative high‐speed board design and assembly for the purpose of performance measurement of semiconductor products. The successful candidate must demonstrate solid knowledge in high‐speed layout and electronic design. This role offers a tremendous opportunity for growth and development in card design as well as electrical modeling. A natural ability to interface in parallel with several cross‐functional teams internally, while coordinating with several local and international suppliers is a must.ResponsibilitiesHardware DevelopmentPerform schematic capture, PCB layout, and system level signal integrity analysis and optimization using platforms such as Cadence Allegro/OrCADManage Contractors through the definition, design and verification of hardware designsDevelop Evaluation Platforms using cutting‐edge bill of material,
design tools and manufacturing design rulesPreferred Experience And QualificationsBachelor's program in Engineering or Physics or another discipline relevant to this position with 10 to 15 years of experienceAdditional degrees/certifications related to high‐speed electrical modeling would be a definite advantageSelf‐motivated with the ability to work independently with little supervisionOrganized and highly adaptable – enjoy working in a fast‐paced environmentExcellent communication skills (written and oral) and ability to communicate and work well with other team membersHigh degree of creativity, determination, and innovationRF, Analog, and digital circuit understandingCadence APD and Allegro advanced knowledgeLab test and measurement, debugging, optimizing hardware using sophisticated lab equipment such as VNAs and high‐speed scopes and probe stationsAdditional SkillsFamiliar with a variety of PCBA technologies, including Chip On Board, wirebond, flip chip, optical‐electronic devices and high‐speed connectorsHigh‐speed modeling tools such as HFSSFamiliar with microcontrollers and FPGAExperience with troubleshooting PCBs and systemsWe are proud to be an EEO employer M/F/D/V.
