This role provides single-point accountability for assigned mobile asset capital projects and rebuild programs, ensuring initiatives are delivered safely, on schedule, within approved budgets, and in alignment with site reliability, production, asset integrity, and capital governance strategies.To be successful, we require someone with a strong project management background and demonstrated experience delivering complex capital and mobile asset projects within an industrial or mining environment. and operational handoverAct as the single point of accountability for assigned mobile asset capital projects and rebuild programsDevelop and maintain project charters, detailed schedules, capital budgets, cash flow forecasts, and risk registersDefine and control project scope, ensuring effective change management for scope, cost, and schedule impactsDevelop integrated schedules that align mobile asset builds and truck deliveries with production and maintenance requirementsManage capital and operating budgets, including cost forecasting, variance analysis, and financial performance reportingLead contractor and OEM selection, onboarding, and performance management, ensuring contracts clearly define deliverables, timelines, quality, and safety expectationsEnsure procurement timelines for trucks, rebuild components, and mobile asset parts align with project execution requirementsEnsure full compliance with site safety standards, regulatory requirements, engineering standards, and capital governance processesCoordinate with Reliability and Asset Health teams to embed maintainability, life cycle cost optimization, and failure prevention strategies into project designEnsure structured commissioning, testing, documentation, and readiness prior to operational handover, including maintenance strategies, PM programs, spares lists, OEM documentation, and CMMS integrationProvide clear progress updates, financial forecasts, KPI tracking, and risk reporting to senior leadership, proactively escalating emerging risksQualificationsA Bachelor's degree in EngineeringA Professional Engineering (P. Eng) designation, registered or eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of B.C.
