- Tackle novel problems in AI compilation, from optimizing computational graphs to designing custom dialects and transformation passes
- Build open-source compiler frameworks that support diverse AI models and workloads, including training and multi-chip scaling
- Develop expertise in custom MLIR dialects such as TTIR, TTNN, and TTKernel
- Contribute to TT-Explorer, a human-in-the-loop compiler optimization tool designed to make advanced tuning accessible to all developers
- Collaborate closely with hardware and software teams in an open-source environment
Requirements
- Proficiency in C++ and Python
- Experience building complex systems that connect high-level frameworks to low-level execution
- Familiarity with at least one of PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow, or deep systems programming
- Interest or experience in MLIR and modular compiler frameworks that link AI models to specialized hardware
- Ability to work collaboratively across hardware and software disciplines
Nice to have
- Background in compilers, systems engineering, or related software domains
- Prior contributions to open-source projects

- Total compensation ranges from $100k to $500k, including base salary and variable targets; actual offers depend on experience, skills, education, background, and location
- Employment is contingent on eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology under U.S. export laws including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR); applicants from EAR Country Groups D:1, E1, and E2 may require prior license approval from the U.S. Commerce Department or another federal agency
