In this senior role, you will leverage WSP's expertise, experience, and innovation to support clients, utilities, and communities in the transition to a new energy future.Your ImpactLead technical aspects of transmission line design projects (34.5kV–500kV), including recent lines, relocations, rebuilds, upgrades, structure replacements, and fiber optic additionsPrepare and review design deliverables, such as plan and profile drawings, material selection, and construction specificationsConduct quality reviews of internal and subcontractor deliverablesManage and prioritize multiple projects within budget and time constraintsEvaluate technical options, criteria, and routes for design meritApply knowledge of construction standards for high voltage line workCoordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure client satisfactionAct as Technical Project Management Lead and maintain strong client relationshipsManage project reporting, invoicing, accounts receivable, and unbilled workDevelop and monitor scope, schedules, and budgets against plan and contractsEnsure adherence to budget, schedule, and quality requirementsServe as primary liaison between client and project team; understand client interestsProactively identify challenges and implement solutions for project successProvide leadership and mentoring to the project teamTravel to client offices, field sites, or vendor facilities as requiredSupport business development activities and participate in proposal preparationThe Skills That Set You ApartCivil (BSCE), Mechanical (BSME), or Electrical (BSEE), Engineering Physics (BSc) degree from an accredited universityAt least ten (10)
