What you’ll do Conduct comprehensive analyses of energy market trends, including supply, demand, and pricing dynamics.
Gather and interpret data from various sources, including market reports, government publications, and industry databases.
Assist in the development of financial models to evaluate investment opportunities in renewable and traditional energy sectors.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations that summarize findings and provide actionable insights for internal stakeholders and clients.
Collaborate with senior analysts and project managers to support ongoing research initiatives and client projects.
Monitor regulatory changes and policy developments that impact the energy sector, providing timely updates to the team.
Engage in cross-functional projects that require collaboration with other departments, such as finance, operations, and marketing.
Participate in client meetings and presentations, helping to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Support the preparation of proposals and pitches for new business opportunities, leveraging your analytical skills to enhance our offerings.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in energy technologies, contributing to the continuous improvement of our analytical frameworks.
Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of our data management systems to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
Contribute to team brainstorming sessions, sharing innovative ideas and approaches to improve our analytical processes and methodologies.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Environmental Science, Economics, or a related field.
At least 1-2 years of experience in energy analysis, market research, or a related area, preferably in a consulting or analytical role.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, R, or Python, with a strong understanding of statistical methods.
Familiarity with energy markets, including knowledge of renewable energy sources, traditional fuels, and market regulations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
Nice to have Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Knowledge of GIS software and its applications in energy analysis.
Previous internship or co-op experience in the energy sector or related fields.
Understanding of financial modeling and investment analysis principles.
Familiarity with sustainability practices and their implications for the energy industry.
