What you’ll do Lead and manage the service department, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Supervise a team of service technicians and advisors, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance and professional development.
Develop and implement service department policies and procedures to improve workflow and customer satisfaction.
Monitor service department performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with other departments, including sales and parts, to ensure seamless operations and customer service.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues promptly and effectively to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards within the service department.

Maintain a clean and organized service area, ensuring that tools and equipment are properly maintained.

Requirements Proven experience in a service management role within the automotive industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar position.
Strong understanding of automotive repair processes and service operations.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on building long-term relationships.
Proficient in using service management software and tools for scheduling and tracking service work.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written,
to effectively interact with customers and team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Nice to have Certification from an automotive service organization or equivalent training.
Experience with dealership operations and manufacturer service programs.
Knowledge of automotive technology trends, including electric and hybrid vehicles.
Bilingual abilities, particularly in English and French, to better serve a diverse customer base.
Previous experience with inventory management systems.
Skills & tools Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and service management software.
Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
