About the role Statflo is seeking an Associate Product Manager to join our dynamic team in Toronto, Ontario. What you'll do Collaborate with senior product managers to define product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer needs.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats within the telecommunications sector.
Gather and prioritize product requirements from stakeholders, translating them into actionable tasks for the development team.
Assist in the creation of user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the development process and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives, contributing insights to improve team performance and product outcomes.
Engage with customers to gather feedback on product features and usability, using this information to inform future enhancements.
Monitor product performance metrics post-launch, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Support the marketing team in developing go-to-market strategies, including product positioning and messaging that resonate with target audiences.
Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring all parties are aligned and informed throughout the product lifecycle.
Assist in the preparation of product documentation, including user manuals and training materials, to support both internal teams and end-users.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, bringing fresh ideas to the product development process.
Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing among team members.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in product management or a related role, preferably within the technology or telecommunications sector.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and product analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel).
A customer-centric mindset, with a passion for understanding user needs and delivering exceptional product experiences.
Nice to have Experience with UX/UI design principles and tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch) to contribute to product design discussions.
Knowledge of telecommunications industry standards and regulations.
Familiarity with software development processes and an understanding of technical concepts related to product development.
Previous experience in a startup environment, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Skills & tools The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, as well as experience with customer feedback platforms, will be beneficial. A solid understanding of product lifecycle management and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams are essential for success in this role.
