We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development and management of our core SaaS platform services, with a focus on security, scalability, and compliance. This role involves overseeing the platform's core features, ensuring it meets the rigorous demands of enterprise clients, and working closely with engineering teams to implement best practices in security and governance.

What you’ll do Define the strategic vision and roadmap for the core services of the AI platform, including model serving, data management, and security features, aligning with company goals and customer needs.
Prioritize projects and features that enhance the platform's ability to handle increased inference workloads, ensuring high availability, low latency, and scalability.
Develop and implement monitoring systems to track model performance, system health, and security metrics, enabling proactive management and troubleshooting.
Manage user authentication and authorization processes, including implementing and maintaining SSO (Single Sign-On) and SAML 2.0 integrations, to ensure seamless and secure access for enterprise clients.
Oversee data governance policies and access control mechanisms, including role-based access control (RBAC) and attribute-based access control (ABAC), to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security best practices into platform architecture, including network security controls, API security, and tenant isolation.
Ensure the platform complies with industry standards and regulations such as SOC 2, GDPR, and the EU AI Act, by translating these requirements into product features and operational processes.




Work with stakeholders across product, engineering, security, and compliance teams to translate strategic security and governance requirements into detailed product specifications.
Lead efforts to improve platform reliability, security, and scalability through continuous monitoring, testing, and iteration.
Stay informed about evolving industry standards, regulatory changes, and emerging security threats related to AI and SaaS platforms, adjusting product strategies accordingly.
Communicate complex technical concepts related to security, governance, and AI platform features clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership and clients.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure the platform's core services meet the needs of enterprise clients while maintaining high standards of security and compliance.
Contribute to the development of best practices and documentation for platform security, governance, and operational procedures.
Support sales and customer success teams by providing technical expertise on platform security and governance features during client onboarding and ongoing support.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance user experience, security posture, and operational efficiency of the platform.
Requirements Extensive experience managing enterprise SaaS platforms, particularly in areas related to identity and access management, API security, and tenant management.
Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, including model serving, responsible AI principles, and model monitoring.
Proven track record of managing products that handle sensitive data in multi-tenant environments, with a focus on security, governance, and compliance.
Strong knowledge of industry standards such as SOC 2, GDPR, and the EU AI Act, and experience translating these into product features and operational practices.
Demonstrated ability to lead large, complex projects independently,



coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver strategic objectives.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical security concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
Ability to analyze technical and business requirements, and convert them into actionable product plans.
Experience with monitoring and analytics tools to track system health, security metrics, and performance indicators.
Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on security, reliability, and user experience.
Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks, security protocols, and best practices for cloud-based SaaS platforms.
Nice to have Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities.
Additional familiarity with compliance frameworks beyond SOC 2, GDPR, and the EU AI Act.
Knowledge of additional security standards or frameworks relevant to enterprise SaaS and AI platforms.
Experience working directly with enterprise clients to understand their security and governance needs.
Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and automation tools for security and compliance.
Skills & tools Proficiency in identity and access management (IAM), including SSO, SAML, and SCIM protocols.
Experience with RBAC and ABAC models for access control.
Solid understanding of API security best practices.
Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and tools used for model deployment and monitoring.
Knowledge of data governance principles and security protocols.
Ability to work with monitoring and analytics tools to track system health and security metrics.
Strong documentation skills to develop best practices, operational procedures, and technical specifications.
Practical notes The salary range for this role in Canada is $140,000 to $170,000 per year, with potential bonuses. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. Additional compensation options may be available and will be discussed during the interview process. The role requires on-site presence in Vancouver, BC, Canada, and involves working closely with engineering, security, and product teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable platform services.
