Job Description The Manager, Analytics & Data Enablement is responsible for leading a team that delivers trusted, analytics‑ready data assets and self‑service data capabilities that enable business reporting, advanced analytics, and informed decision-making across the organization. The role plays a critical leadership position in Allstate Canada Group (ACG)’s data modernization journey, overseeing the transition of enterprise analytics platforms and data assets to Microsoft Fabric, including the modernization of key actuarial and analytical data environments.
Working closely with business stakeholders, analytics teams, data engineers, and technology partners, this leader ensures data is governed, scalable, and accessible while establishing data standards, enabling self‑service analytics, and accelerating the organization’s adoption of modern cloud‑based analytics capabilities. The Manager is accountable for delivering high‑quality curated datasets, supporting enterprise data governance, and developing a high‑performing team focused on innovation, automation, and continuous improvement.
Accountabilities Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and develop a team of analytics and data professionals responsible for enterprise data enablement.
Establish clear priorities, objectives, and delivery roadmaps aligned with organizational goals.
Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, innovation, and accountability.
Build and maintain capabilities in Microsoft Fabric, modern analytics platforms, cloud technologies, and data governance practices.
Microsoft Fabric Transformation Lead the migration and modernization of analytical data assets, processes, and reporting capabilities into Microsoft Fabric.
Oversee the evolution of enterprise data architecture, including curated data layers, semantic models, and self‑service analytics capabilities.
Partner with technology teams to ensure scalable, secure, and governed implementation of Fabric capabilities.
Drive adoption of up-to-date analytics tools, automation, AI‑enabled capabilities, and cloud‑native data practices.
Data Governance & Quality Establish and maintain data standards, governance practices, and documentation requirements.
Partner with business stakeholders to define trusted business metrics, KPI standards, and critical data elements.
Promote data lineage, quality controls, metadata management, and stewardship practices.
Ensure enterprise data assets are reliable, secure, and aligned with regulatory and business requirements.
Stakeholder Enablement & Service Delivery Build strong relationships with actuarial, finance, product, claims, underwriting, marketing, and other business partners.
Deliver high‑quality data products and services that support reporting, analytics, and strategic decision‑making.
Enable self‑service analytics by providing curated datasets, semantic models, and governed access to data assets.
Communicate roadmaps, priorities, risks, and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement & Digital Transformation Drive automation, standardization, and simplification of data processes.
Identify opportunities to improve data quality, timeliness, and operational efficiency.
Contribute to the evolution of the data architecture and target‑state solutions.
Qualifications Experience Experience in data analytics,
business intelligence, data management, or data engineering.
Proven people leadership experience in a manager or senior lead role.
Hands‑on experience with data integration, reconciliation, and controls.
Strong understanding of insurance processes (claims and/or policy and asset).
Technical & Professional Skills Strong understanding of Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, semantic models, data warehousing, data integration, and modern analytics architectures.
Experience working with large‑scale analytical data environments and enterprise reporting platforms.
Knowledge of SQL and data modelling concepts, including dimensional modelling and curated data layer design.
Familiarity with cloud data platforms, automation, AI‑enabled analytics capabilities, and modern data engineering practices.
Understanding of data governance, data quality, lineage, metadata, and data stewardship principles.
Strong project management, prioritisation, and stakeholder management skills.
Leadership Competencies Proven ability to lead through organizational and technological change.
Strong communication and influencing skills at all organisational levels.
Ability to develop talent, build high‑performing teams, and foster collaboration across business and technology functions.
Strategic thinker with strong execution and delivery focus.
Bonus Qualifications Insurance industry experience (P&C; or Life).
Experience in digital transformation or large enterprise data programmes.

Compensation Expected compensation for this role ranges from $115,500 - 145,000 annually. Actual salary offered to successful candidates will vary based on their skills and experience.
