What you'll do Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement aviation solutions that meet client needs and industry standards.
Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities within the aviation sector.
Participate in the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring that all milestones are met on schedule.
Engage with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Utilize advanced software tools and technologies to create simulations and models that enhance operational efficiency.
Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including reports, presentations, and user manuals.
Monitor and evaluate project performance, making recommendations for improvements and adjustments as necessary.
Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and enhance service offerings.
Provide training and support to team members and clients on new technologies and processes.
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by sharing insights and feedback with the team.
Participate in industry conferences and networking events to represent FulcrumAir and foster relationships with potential clients and partners.
Support the development of marketing materials and proposals to attract new business opportunities.




Requirements Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in the aviation industry or a similar technical role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
Proficiency in relevant software tools, including CAD, simulation software, and project management applications.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Familiarity with aviation regulations and safety standards is a plus.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take initiative.
Nice to have Experience with drone technology or unmanned aerial systems (UAS).
Knowledge of software development and programming languages relevant to aviation applications.
Previous experience in client-facing roles, particularly in consulting or project management.
Certifications related to aviation safety or quality assurance.
Multilingual abilities that can enhance communication with diverse clients and partners.
Skills & tools Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana).
Familiarity with aviation-specific software such as FlightAware, SkyVector, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of data analysis tools and methodologies.
Ability to utilize design software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks for project development.
Practical notes This position is based in Calgary, Alberta, and requires a full-time commitment. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada, and visa sponsorship is available for individuals who meet the necessary qualifications.
