What you'll do Lead and manage the IT operations team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
Develop and implement IT policies and procedures that align with the company's goals and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services, to ensure optimal performance and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and provide solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure the best value and service delivery for IT products and services.
Monitor IT systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Lead incident response efforts, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues and minimizing downtime for users.
Conduct regular assessments of IT systems and processes to identify risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
Prepare and manage the IT budget, ensuring alignment with company objectives and effective resource allocation.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for improvements and innovations within the IT landscape.
Provide training and support to staff on IT systems and tools, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, detailing IT performance metrics, project updates, and strategic initiatives.
Requirements A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations management or a similar role, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
Proven experience in leading and managing IT teams, with a focus on performance optimization and employee development.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, and cloud computing.
Familiarity with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL, and experience in implementing best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Experience in budget management and resource allocation within an IT context.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices, ensuring the protection of company data and systems.
Nice to have Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or similar credentials that demonstrate expertise in IT management.
Experience in the construction or engineering technology sector, providing insight into industry-specific IT needs.
Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies, enhancing the ability to manage IT projects effectively.
Understanding of data analytics and reporting tools, enabling data-driven decision-making within the IT operations.
Skills & tools Proficient in IT infrastructure management tools and software, including monitoring and reporting systems.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, supporting the company's cloud strategy.
Knowledge of cybersecurity tools and practices, ensuring robust protection against threats.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
