Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Software Developer (Front-End)to support the design, development, implementation, and maintenance ofenterprise applications. The successful candidate will work within an Agileenvironment, translating technical requirements into high-quality, testedsolutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout theSoftware Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities
Translatetechnical systems specifications into working, tested applications.

Developdetailed programming specifications.

Compiledata-driven programs and conduct unit testing.

Maintainapplications and software components.

Troubleshootand resolve technical issues arising during software operation andimplementation.

Providetechnical assistance during implementations, conversions, and migrations.

Participatein application design, development, testing, debugging, deployment, anddocumentation activities.

Collaboratewith stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams throughoutthe SDLC.

Conductdesign walkthrough sessions with project teams.

Providepost-implementation support and resolve technical issues.

Createuser and system documentation as required.

Required Qualifications
General Skills
Experiencein programming and analysis.

Experiencesupporting specialized software packages.

Abilityto collaborate effectively with IT professionals throughout the SDLC.

Experiencewith structured methodologies for application design, development,implementation, and maintenance.





Experienceusing object-oriented and/or third-generation development tools.

Experiencewith one or more programming languages.

Experiencewith application design patterns, deployment, and troubleshooting.

Experiencewith relational and hierarchical database technologies.

Experienceusing information retrieval packages and query languages.

Experiencewith one or more communications protocols.

Experiencegathering and documenting requirements from diverse business stakeholdersand subject matter experts.

Excellentanalytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication,interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Demonstratedability to work collaboratively and meet project deadlines.

Front-End Technical Skills
Experiencewith Agile methodologies.

Experienceusing React, Next.js, and Jamstack.

Experiencewith Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) compliancerequirements.

Workingknowledge of Figma or similar design tools.

Workingknowledge of DevOps practices, task boards, pipelines, and relatedtooling.

Experience Requirements
2-5years of experience as an Intermediate Front-End Developer.

Experiencesupporting large-scale government or banking applications.

Experiencewith cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.

Proficiencyin cloud service models including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.

Experienceworking in Agile delivery environments using Kanban/task boards.

Communication Skills
Strongdocumentation skills,



including preparation of reports, reviews, andassessments.

Abilityto communicate ideas and recommendations clearly and effectively.

Strongcustomer service orientation when working with internal and externalstakeholders.

Abilityto communicate technical designs and development approaches in a explicit andunderstandable manner.

Knowledgeand experience developing internet-ready applications.

Knowledgeand experience with Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodologies.

Understandingof Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices.

Experienceworking with middleware and gateway technologies.

Experiencereviewing, analyzing, modifying, testing, and debugging installationscripts.

Knowledgeof AODA standards and accessibility best practices.
