About the role Ott is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Account Manager fluent in Mandarin to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. What you'll do Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact and advocate within the company.
Understand client objectives and challenges, providing strategic insights and solutions that align with their business goals.
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Prepare and present regular reports on account performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
Identify opportunities for account growth and upselling additional services or products to meet client needs.
Conduct regular check-ins and meetings with clients to gather feedback and address any concerns promptly.
Assist in the development of proposals and contracts,



ensuring they meet client expectations and company standards.
Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to provide clients with relevant insights and recommendations.
Participate in networking events and industry conferences to represent Ott and build relationships with potential clients.
Train and mentor junior team members, sharing best practices and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Handle any escalated client issues with professionalism and urgency, ensuring swift resolution to maintain client trust.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of account management processes and practices within the organization.
Requirements Fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken, is essential for effective communication with clients.
A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in account management or a similar client‑facing role, preferably in a technology or digital marketing environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues.




Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities and a proactive approach to client management.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Robust analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Nice to have Experience in the tech industry or digital marketing is a plus.
Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
Previous experience working with international clients or in a multicultural environment.
Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
Skills & tools Proficient in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for managing client interactions and data.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to clients and team members.
Analytical skills to assess client needs and performance metrics.
Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
Negotiation skills to effectively discuss contracts and service agreements with clients.
Practical notes This position is based in Toronto, Ontario, and may require occasional travel for client meetings or industry events.
Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship.
The salary for this role will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
