What you'll do Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities within the automotive sector.
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential customers and understand their needs, preferences, and purchasing behavior.
Present and demonstrate our product offerings to clients, highlighting features and benefits that align with their specific requirements.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional materials and campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Track sales metrics and prepare regular reports to assess performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.
Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to represent 401auto and expand your professional network.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Work closely with the product development team to relay customer feedback and contribute to the enhancement of our product line.
Train and mentor junior sales staff, sharing best practices and strategies to foster a collaborative team environment.
Utilize CRM software to manage leads, track interactions, and streamline the sales process effectively.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements that drive sales growth.
Requirements Proven experience in sales, preferably within the automotive industry or a related field.
Solid understanding of automotive products and market dynamics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage customer relationships effectively.
Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and customer needs.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to meet clients and attend events.
A degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Nice to have Experience in digital marketing or e-commerce strategies related to automotive sales.

Previous experience in a customer-facing role that involved technical product demonstrations.
