Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to supportcomplex business and information technology initiatives. The successfulcandidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams toanalyze business needs, document requirements, evaluate solutions, and supportthe successful delivery of business and IT projects.

Key Responsibilities

Leadand conduct business analysis activities at varying levels of detail toassess business problems and opportunities.

Documentbusiness requirements to support the identification and implementation oftechnology solutions.

Developstrategies, business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and feasibility studiesfor business and IT initiatives.

Conductbusiness modeling, use case modeling, conceptual and logical datamodeling, process and data flow modeling.

Definebusiness rules and non-functional requirements for assigned initiatives.

Performgap analysis of vendor release upgrades and identify required businessprocess, configuration, reporting, and integration changes.

Monitorproject progress, resolve issues, and provide regular status reporting tomanagement and key stakeholders.

Developand track performance measures to evaluate business analysis outcomes.

Actas a liaison between business stakeholders and data providers.

Documentnew requirements and prepare analysis and design documentation.





Manageevolving requirements and ensure traceability throughout development andimplementation.

Facilitateknowledge transfer activities and create project documentation as directedby project leadership.

Required Qualifications

Core Experience

Minimum7 years of Business Analysis experience.

Experienceassessing business problems and opportunities and documenting businessrequirements.

Experienceapplying business process re‑engineering concepts to improve servicedelivery.

Experiencedeveloping business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and feasibility studies.

Experienceconducting business modeling, use case modeling, conceptual and logicaldata modeling, process and data flow modeling.

Experienceperforming gap analysis for vendor release upgrades.

Experiencemonitoring project progress, resolving issues, and reporting tostakeholders.

Experiencedeveloping performance measures and conducting follow‑up evaluations.

Knowledge & Experience

Minimum5 years of experience supporting business initiatives and projects.

Strongtroubleshooting and analytical capabilities.

Excellentproblem-solving and decision‑making skills.

Awarenessof emerging IT trends and technologies.

Advancedproficiency with Microsoft Office products.





Experiencetranslating business requirements into epics, user scenarios, andstakeholder‑ready mockups.

Experienceworking on large and complex projects.

Knowledgeof industry‑standard project management methodologies.

Experiencesupporting health‑sector related initiatives within the Ontario PublicSector environment.
