About the role Vicpark is seeking a dedicated Application Specialist for Clinic Systems to join our dynamic team in Westmount, Quebec. This full-time position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about improving clinical operations through technology. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting and optimizing our clinical systems, ensuring that healthcare professionals have the tools they need to provide exceptional patient care. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including clinicians and IT teams, to enhance system functionality and user experience.

What you'll do Collaborate with clinical staff to understand their needs and translate them into system requirements for clinic applications.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for clinic systems, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical operations.
Conduct training sessions for end-users to enhance their proficiency with clinical applications and promote best practices.
Participate in the implementation of new software solutions, including system configuration, testing, and user acceptance.
Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements.
Develop and maintain documentation related to system processes, user guides, and training materials.




Work closely with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of clinical systems with other healthcare technologies.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in clinical systems to recommend innovative solutions that align with organizational goals.
Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to the use of clinical applications to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Act as a liaison between clinical staff and IT departments to facilitate effective communication and problem resolution.
Support data management initiatives, including data entry, validation, and reporting, to ensure accurate and timely information is available for decision-making.
Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving overall clinic efficiency and patient care delivery.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 3 years of experience working with clinical systems in a healthcare environment.
Strong understanding of clinical workflows and the role of technology in enhancing patient care.
Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and providing technical support to end-users.
Excellent communication skills,



with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in training users on software applications, with a focus on enhancing user engagement and satisfaction.
Familiarity with data management practices, including data entry, validation, and reporting.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a rapid-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Nice to have Certification in Health Informatics or a related area is a plus.
Experience with specific clinical software systems such as EMR/EHR platforms.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to clinical data management and patient privacy.
Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
Previous experience in a role that involved process improvement initiatives within a healthcare setting.
Skills & tools Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software tools.
Experience with clinical systems and electronic health records (EHR) platforms.
Familiarity with database management and reporting tools.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
Practical notes This position is based in Westmount, Quebec, and may require occasional travel to other clinic locations for training and support.
Candidates must have valid work authorization to work in Canada.
The salary for this role will be competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
