We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Technical Lead / Solution Architect to design, build, and lead enterprise-grade applications and extensions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
Responsibilities SAP BTP Application Development & Extension Design and develop scalable applications and extensions on SAP BTP using: CAP (Cloud Application Programming) Model
SAP Fiori / UI5
SAP Business Application Studio
Lead development of cloud-native, event-driven, and multi-tenant applications. Implement reusable services and APIs aligned with SAP best practices.
Integration & API Architecture Design and implement integrations using: SAP Integration Suite REST, SOAP, and OData services
SAP API Management
Enable secure communication using OAuth2, JWT, XSUAA-based authorization models.
Event-Driven & Workflow Solutions Design: asynchronous and event-driven solutions using: SAP Event Mesh
Workflow Management Business Rules Service
Architect loosely-coupled systems that improve scalability and resilience.
DevOps, CI/CD & Quality Engineering: Establish CI/CD pipelines using: GitHub / GitLab
Jenkins or SAP CI/CD service
SAP Transport Management Service (TMS)

Technical Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and mentor development teams, conduct architecture and code reviews, collaborate with cross-functional teams: Basis, Security,



Integration; drive Agile delivery using Scrum or Kanban; act as technical advisor to stakeholders and business teams.

Location and other Key Details This is an office-based role. You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 - 6th Ave S.W.
Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday with occasional site visits.
Our business skilled roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will generally be based on years of experience and scope of work.
