About the role Tenstorrent builds high performance RISC-V CPUs and AI platforms to redefine up-to-date computing. We are seeking a network engineer to manage the global data center infrastructure that supports our AI compute clusters. This role involves designing and maintaining the backbone of our hardware and software ecosystem.

What you'll do Build and maintain the global data center network supporting our AI accelerator clusters.
Manage and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and high-speed fabrics to ensure uptime.
Work alongside hardware, platform, and DevOps teams to expand network capacity and optimize performance.
Create secure, scalable architectures while implementing automation to streamline provisioning.
Requirements Experience designing and operating large-scale data center networks using leaf-spine architecture.
Proficiency in Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols including BGP,
EVPN-VXLAN, OSPF, and TCP/IP.
Practical knowledge of Arista EOS, Dell SONiC, Cisco IOS-XE, and Fortinet firewalls.
Experience with lossless Ethernet fabrics for RDMA, specifically RoCEv2, PFC, ECN, and DCQCN.
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues across distributed infrastructure.
Competency in network automation using Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
Compensation Compensation for engineering roles ranges from $100,000 to $500,000, including base and variable pay, depending on background and location.
Employment is contingent upon the candidate being eligible to access U.S. export-controlled technology, which may require citizenship or permanent residency status or specific government license approval due to U.S. export laws.
