What you'll do Analyze drilling data to identify trends and areas for improvement, utilizing advanced statistical methods and software tools.
Collaborate with drilling engineers and field personnel to develop and implement optimization strategies tailored to specific projects.
Monitor real-time drilling operations and provide actionable insights to enhance performance and reduce non-productive time.
Conduct post-drilling evaluations to assess the effectiveness of optimization initiatives and recommend further enhancements.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of drilling parameters, optimization techniques, and project outcomes.
Utilize simulation software to model drilling scenarios and predict performance under various conditions.
Train and mentor junior staff on best practices in drilling optimization and data analysis techniques.
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure that Kruxanalytics remains at the forefront of drilling optimization.
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and tailor solutions that align with their operational objectives.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.




Participate in industry conferences and workshops to represent Kruxanalytics and share knowledge on drilling optimization strategies.
Work closely with the IT department to ensure that data management systems are efficient and effective for analysis purposes.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geosciences, or a related field; a Master's degree is an asset.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in drilling optimization or a related role within the oil and gas industry.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, or MATLAB, as well as experience with drilling software like Landmark or Schlumberger.
Solid understanding of drilling engineering principles and practices, including well design and drilling performance metrics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
