Compensation range: $56,300.00 – $78,100.00 annually

International Programs Group (IPG) is an independent third-party administration (TPA) team providing claims services for Lloyd's of London syndicates, domestic insurers, self-insured entities, and organizations with high financial retentions.

We have an existing opportunity to add a full time Desktop Property Claims Examiner to our growing team! This position is available anywhere in Canada.

Attendance to the office a minimum of 1 day per week and as needed for training, client meetings and team meetings is required.

The successful candidates will be part of a dynamic team that provides quality service to internal and external clients. They will display excellent customer service skills and will be a key contributor to the success of the organization by providing knowledgeable, detailed and timely service. Utilizing a ‘desktop’ model, IPG examiners manage claims from start to finish. This hands‑on approach ensures that the claim is handled properly and helps offset third‑party adjusting costs.

Role Responsibilities:

Settle claims directly with Insureds or their representatives

Produce reports with occasional guidance from Manager

Direct Field Adjusters on task assignment investigations

Administer claims payments/settlements through trust accounts

Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure clients’ needs are met

Report back to the syndicate or self-insured according to their guidelines

Qualifications & Experience:
While licensing and experience are critical to being able to handle significant examining tasks for a TPA, we are looking for individuals with a demonstrated and proven track record of performance. You will have to be solid technically, a solid planner and organizer, and understand key issues plus provide solid solutions.



You will have to be motivated to do this type of work and be excited by the challenges that a rapidly growing organization faces.

We will also consider the following:

Your education, with relevant post‑secondary education being an asset

Your completed CIP courses, or working towards CIP designation

Your ability to hold an independent adjusting license

Your 1-2 years' experience delivering relevant claims adjusting and/or examining work

Exposure to the Lloyd's market would be an asset

Your experience positively contributing to a high-performing team

Examples of your strong aptitude and ability to work with technology

Your attention to detail and your ability to communicate professionally
