The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Full time (1.00 F.T.E.) Temporary Inclusion Education Coach (I Coach). This position will commence on August 27, 2026 and will continue until June 29, 2027. The initial teachingg assignment will include instruction in junior/senior high special needs programming.
This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is secured.
Duties:
Work collaboratively to implement an inclusive education environment within the school community
Work alongside classroom teachers to build capacity and provide support
Implement and assist with the development of supports and services to meet the needs of all learners
Coordinate all health and related services provided by external agencies and partners to support student learning
Administer Level B assessments
Facilitate the implementations of Response to Intervention programming
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education.
Must hold or be eligible for a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
Demonstrate English proficiency.
Requirements:
Provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check, dated within six (6) months of your application.
This teaching position falls under the Collective Agreement between the Alberta Teachers' Association and the Peace River School Division.
Annual Salary Range: $ 66,520 to $ 112,451 (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers’ Association and the Peace River School Division).
