Thyssen Mining is currently seeking experienced, safety-conscious Underground Miners to join our team at mining projects across Ontario. Successful candidates will play a key role in supporting underground development, production, and construction activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety and workpersonship.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform underground mining activities in accordance with mine plans, procedures, and safety standards.
- Install and maintain ground support systems, including rock bolts, mesh, and screen.
- Conduct scaling and workplace inspections.
- Operate underground mining equipment as required and qualified.
- Perform pre-operational inspections and report equipment deficiencies.
- Handle and transport materials, tools, and supplies underground.
- Identify, report, and address workplace hazards.
- Work effectively as part of a crew to achieve production and development targets.
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of underground mining experience preferred.
- Experience in underground development, production, or construction mining.
- Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in an underground workplace.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core and specialty modules are considered an asset.
- First Aid certification is considered an asset.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment and Drug & Alcohol test.

FIFO & Rotation Requirements
Successful applicants must be willing to:
- Work rotational schedules such as 14/14
- Travel to and from designated departure points
- Work at remote mine sites across Ontario
- Live in a camp environment when required
- Work overtime as operational needs demand
