What you'll do Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions that enhance the NexHealth platform.
Collaborate with product managers and designers to define and implement new features that improve user experience.
Write clean, maintainable code and conduct thorough testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues in a timely manner.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive.
Mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices to help them grow in their roles.
Contribute to the documentation of software architecture and design decisions for future reference.
Engage in agile development practices, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with the DevOps team to streamline deployment processes and enhance system performance.
Work closely with clients to gather feedback and iterate on product features based on user needs.
Ensure compliance with security best practices and data protection regulations in all software development activities.




Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on web applications.
Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby, and experience with frameworks like React or Angular.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating with third-party services.
Familiarity with database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
A passion for improving healthcare technology and enhancing patient experiences.
Nice to have Experience in the healthcare technology sector or familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Trello.
Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in developer communities.
Understanding of data privacy regulations such as HIPAA and their implications for software development.
