We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with a strong focus on Playwright to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2 5 years of experience in quality assurance and automation testing, with a proven track record of developing and executing automated test scripts. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through effective testing strategies.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.

Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand requirements and create test plans.

Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.

Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.

Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.

Assist in the development of testing frameworks and tools.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in QA automation.

Mandatory Skills:

Strong expertise in Playwright for web application testing.

Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.

Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues effectively.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with other automation tools such as Selenium or Cypress.

Experience with performance testing tools.

Knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured.

Understanding of Agile methodologies.





Experience with version control systems like Git.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2 5 years of experience in QA automation.

Solid analytical and problem solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Detail oriented with a passion for quality.

The pay rangeforthis role is CAD $80000 per annumincluding any bonuses or variable pay.
