Agile Project Manager at Veriday. Veriday is seeking a skilled Agile Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Toronto, Ontario. What you'll do Lead the planning and implementation of Agile projects, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with business objectives.
Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies to promote team engagement and accountability.
Monitor project progress and performance, utilizing metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
Manage project risks and issues proactively, developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to provide feedback and share best practices.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting notes, to ensure transparency and alignment among stakeholders.
Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and any changes to project scope or timelines.




Support the development and implementation of Agile training programs to enhance team capabilities and promote Agile methodologies across the organization.
Assist in resource allocation and team capacity planning to ensure optimal team performance and project delivery.
Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies that can enhance project management processes and team collaboration.
Requirements A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on Agile methodologies.
Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
Strong understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean, and experience implementing them in real-world projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
Proficient in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana, and familiarity with collaboration tools like Slack or Microsoft Teams.
Relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are preferred.
Nice to have Experience in the technology or software development industry is a plus.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, enhancing collaboration between development and operations teams.
Knowledge of change management principles and practices to effectively manage project transitions.
Experience in coaching and mentoring teams in Agile practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
