The Construction Safety Trainer reports to the Training Manager and is tasked with developing and delivering training programs for the SMR-X project. You'll collaborate with project teams and ensure compliance with safety protocols and legislative requirements. Flexibility in working various shifts is essential to support continuous safety oversight.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct training on safety programs including First Aid and Heavy Equipment
• Provide feedback on employee competency related to training
• Attend training team meetings and assist in program development




• Promote a positive safety culture through active communication
• Support safety audits, inspections, and environmental management plans

Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• 5+ years in Health and Safety and construction training
• Familiarity with Provincial OHS legislation
• Experience facilitating large group training
• Proficiency in MS Office for report management
