What you'll do Lead and manage renovation projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to develop project plans and specifications that meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
Conduct site assessments to evaluate existing conditions and identify potential challenges or opportunities for improvement.
Prepare detailed project documentation, including scopes of work, budgets, and schedules, to facilitate smooth project execution.
Monitor ongoing projects to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality benchmarks, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including property managers and tenants, to provide updates and manage expectations throughout the renovation process.
Utilize project management software to track progress, manage resources, and report on project status to senior management.
Implement best practices in renovation processes,



continuously seeking ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs without compromising quality.
Train and mentor junior staff and contractors on renovation techniques and safety protocols, fostering a culture of learning and development.

Requirements A minimum of 5 years of experience in renovation project management or a related field.
Proven track record of successfully managing multiple renovation projects simultaneously, with a focus on residential properties.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage budgets and timelines effectively.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project or similar applications.




Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites as needed.
A degree or diploma in construction management, architecture, or a related field is preferred.
Nice to have Experience with sustainable building practices and green renovation techniques.
Familiarity with design software, such as AutoCAD or SketchUp, to assist in project planning.
Certification in project management (PMP or similar) is an asset.
Knowledge of property management processes and tenant relations.
Bilingualism in English and French is a plus, given the diverse clientele in Ottawa.
