What you'll do Oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring all customer invoices are generated accurately and dispatched promptly.
Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue payments and initiate follow-up communications to resolve outstanding balances.
Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address billing inquiries and disputes, ensuring customer satisfaction while protecting the company’s financial interests.
Prepare and maintain detailed reports on accounts receivable aging, cash flow forecasts, and collection efforts to provide insights to management.
Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Assist in the development and implementation of streamlined processes to enhance efficiency in the accounts receivable function.
Utilize accounting software and tools to track payments, generate reports, and analyze financial data for strategic decision-making.
Participate in monthly closing activities, including preparing journal entries related to accounts receivable and assisting with audits as needed.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payment history, and correspondence to support effective communication and reporting.
Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes that may impact accounts receivable processes.
Provide training and support to junior team members,

Contribute to special projects and initiatives aimed at improving the overall financial performance of the organization.
Requirements A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze data effectively.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and internal teams.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus.
Nice to have Knowledge of industry-specific accounting practices or software.
Certification in accounts receivable or related financial certifications.
Familiarity with financial reporting and analysis tools.
Experience in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Bilingual abilities, particularly in French, can be an asset.
Skills & tools Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
