Role Overview
We are seeking an experiencedHealthcare QA Lead to support acomplex healthcare technology modernization initiative. The successfulcandidate will lead both functional and automated testing activities acrossenterprise healthcare applications, interoperability platforms, integrations,APIs, video technologies, identity workflows, and release readiness processes.
This role requires robust leadership capabilities combinedwith hands-on expertise in test automation, API validation, healthcareinteroperability standards, system integrations, and quality assurance bestpractices.
Key Responsibilities
Developand maintain overall test strategy, test plans, schedules, test scenarios,test cases, automation approaches, and execution plans.
Leadmanual functional testing and automated regression testing acrossfrontend, backend, API, integration, and end-to-end workflows.
Design,build, maintain, and execute automated tests using Playwright forregression coverage, smoke testing, release validation, and critical userjourneys.
Developand execute API test suites using Postman and vREST for REST APIs, FHIRAPIs, interoperability workflows, integration endpoints, and backendservices.
Leadtesting activities related to legacy application modernization andreplacement initiatives.
Executetesting for video workflow capabilities, including virtual meetingintegrations, participant management, waiting rooms, session management,and multi-party workflows.
Planand execute testing for healthcare interoperability workflows involvingHL7v2, FHIR APIs, FHIR Subscriptions, SMART on FHIR, and integrationengine processing.
Validateevent-driven workflows, subscription notifications, endpoint delivery,payload validation, authorization controls, and downstream processing.
Validateauthentication, authorization, identity management workflows, androle-based access controls.
Coordinatefunctional, integration, regression, end-to-end, accessibility,performance, security, privacy, user acceptance, implementation readiness,and release-readiness testing activities.
Createand maintain requirements traceability matrices to ensure business,technical, security, accessibility, operational, and integrationrequirements are fully tested.
Identify,document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
Leaddefect triage meetings and provide reporting on quality metrics, releaserisks, testing progress, automation coverage, and readinessrecommendations.
Collaboratewith development and integration teams to support testing, automation,data preparation, and production validation activities.
Preparetest summary reports, automation reports, implementation validation plans,release readiness assessments, and knowledge transfer documentation.
Supportproduction implementation activities, post-release validation, andwarranty support activities.
Required Qualifications
Must-Have Experience
Senior-levelTest Lead experience on complex application modernization, integration,healthcare, or digital service initiatives.
Experiencedeveloping test strategies, test plans, test cases, traceability matrices,execution reporting, defect reporting, automation reporting, and releasereadiness recommendations.
Hands-onfunctional testing experience involving React applications, Java/SpringBoot microservices, REST APIs, backend services, and database-drivenapplications.
Strongautomated testing expertise using Playwright, including UI automation,debugging, execution management, regression testing, and CI/CDintegration.
Hands-onAPI testing experience using Postman and vREST, including assertions,collection management, environment configuration, regression execution,and defect analysis.
Experiencetesting healthcare interoperability solutions utilizing:
HL7v2
FHIRAPIs
FHIRSubscriptions
SMARTon FHIR
OAuth2/OIDC
JWT
Experiencetesting healthcare information system integrations involving schedulingworkflows, provider workflows, patient workflows, encounter workflows,clinical data exchange, and interface validation.
Experienceleading defect management activities and coordinating quality assuranceefforts across multiple stakeholder groups.

Regression,smoke, accessibility, user acceptance, performance, security/privacycoordination, implementation readiness, and release readiness artifacts.
Releasereadiness assessments and test summary reports.
Productionimplementation validation and post-release support activities.
Work Arrangement
Hybridwork model with onsite attendance as required.
Candidatesmust be eligible to work within Ontario and comply with project accessrequirements.
