Sr. Product Manager, Platform & Agentic Integrations at Dialpad. About the role Dialpad is on the lookout for an experienced product manager to oversee the development of a comprehensive ecosystem of APIs, connectors, and agentic functionalities that facilitate AI interactions with external systems. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting the strategic roadmap that empowers developers and customers to enhance the platform, automate workflows, and tackle complex challenges effectively.

What you'll do Lead the strategic direction for public APIs, webhooks, events, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and custom connectors to ensure seamless integration.
Develop user-friendly tools that enable administrators and designers to configure APIs specifically for AI agents, enhancing usability and functionality.
Create management interfaces that facilitate the discovery, testing, and monitoring of connectors, ensuring a smooth user experience.
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to establish a robust platform architecture that supports integration infrastructure and scalability.
Ensure that platform capabilities are in alignment with the broader organizational objectives related to agentic AI, driving innovation and efficiency.
Work in tandem with go-to-market and support teams to coordinate successful product launches, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and prepared.
Assess and determine the optimal balance between internal development initiatives, Integration Platform as a Service (IPaaS), and partnerships for integrations,
maximizing resource utilization.
Analyze user feedback and market trends to continuously refine and enhance the product offering, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of customers.
Prepare detailed product documentation and specifications to guide development efforts and maintain alignment across teams.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of integrations and make data-driven decisions for future enhancements.
Foster a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging creative problem-solving and the exploration of new technologies.
Requirements A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, specifically within platform, API, or enterprise SaaS settings.
Strong technical knowledge of webhooks, authentication protocols, and integration architecture, enabling effective communication with engineering teams.
Proven experience in scaling platforms that allow both external and internal users to extend core software functionalities.
Ability to navigate both high-level strategic planning and detailed technical execution, ensuring alignment across various project phases.
Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration, working effectively with engineering, design,
and go-to-market teams to achieve common goals.
Skilled in translating vague requirements into clear, actionable product plans that drive development and meet user needs.
Nice to have Familiarity with cloud-based integration solutions and their application in enterprise environments.
Experience with agile methodologies and tools, enhancing team efficiency and product delivery.
Knowledge of machine learning concepts and their integration into product offerings, particularly in relation to AI-driven solutions.
Previous work in a startup environment, showcasing adaptability and a hands‑on approach to product development.
Skills & tools Proficient in managing public APIs and understanding their impact on product ecosystems.
Experience with webhooks and event-driven systems to facilitate real‑time data exchanges.
Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and its application in enhancing platform capabilities.
Familiarity with connector management and the development of custom actions to improve user experience.
Understanding of enterprise SaaS integration frameworks and best practices for implementation.
Practical notes The base salary range for this position in British Columbia is between $140,500 and $177,250 CAD.
