What you’ll do Collaborate with the Captain to conduct pre-flight briefings, ensuring all flight plans are thoroughly reviewed and understood.
Assist in the preparation and filing of flight plans, including weight and balance calculations, to ensure compliance with aviation regulations.
Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections of the Citation XL aircraft, checking for any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
Operate the aircraft in accordance with company policies, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, and industry best practices.
Monitor flight progress and communicate with air traffic control to ensure safe navigation and adherence to flight schedules.
Manage in-flight systems and equipment, troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise during the flight.
Maintain accurate flight logs and records, documenting all relevant information for compliance and operational review.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs to enhance flying skills and knowledge of aviation regulations.
Collaborate with ground crew and other personnel to ensure smooth and efficient ground operations, including boarding and deplaning procedures.
Uphold the highest standards of customer service,



addressing passenger needs and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
Engage in post-flight debriefings with the Captain and crew to review flight performance and identify areas for improvement.
Stay informed about changes in aviation regulations, industry trends, and best practices to contribute to the continuous improvement of flight operations.
Requirements Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a type rating for the Citation XL.
Minimum of 1,500 hours of total flight time, including at least 500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in jet aircraft.
Strong understanding of aviation regulations, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Proven ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure, particularly in emergency situations.
Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct in all aspects of flight operations.
Nice to have Previous experience as a First Officer on the Citation XL or similar aircraft.
Familiarity with advanced avionics systems and flight management systems.
Additional certifications or endorsements, such as instrument rating or multi-engine rating.
Experience in corporate aviation or charter operations.
Skills & tools Proficiency in flight planning software and tools.
Strong analytical skills for evaluating flight data and performance metrics.
Familiarity with electronic flight bags (EFB) and other aviation technology.
Ability to utilize communication tools effectively for coordination with air traffic control and ground personnel.
Practical notes This role requires a commitment to flexible scheduling, including the possibility of overnight trips and varying flight hours.
Candidates must be willing to undergo a comprehensive background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
