About the role Join our Backend Platform team to build and maintain the infrastructure and services that support our product development organization. You will own production environments and developer tools while focusing on modernization and reliability to help our teams deliver value efficiently.

What you'll do Design and build software including automation, libraries, services, and scripts.
Ensure the security, integrity, and reliability of our cloud-based platform.
Participate in a flexible on-call rotation.
Lead project milestones, epics, and features.
Develop automation to reduce repetitive tasks and alert noise.
Maintain, upgrade, and migrate existing platform features.
Diagnose and repair distributed systems.
Provide tools and best practices to support the software development lifecycle.
Mentor team members and contribute to documentation and demos.
Requirements Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.




Demonstrated track record of contributing to high-impact software projects.
Experience writing performant code at scale within a SaaS environment.
Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools for cloud environments.
Robust collaboration skills with a focus on team-oriented results.
Nice to have Experience in backend development and DevOps, specifically creating tools for other developers.
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure maintenance and Linux systems administration.
Experience with networking (L3-L7), basic monitoring, and troubleshooting system-level issues.

Practical notes Salary range: $115,400 to $161,600 CAD.
