Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead alarge-scale geospatial application modernization initiative. The projectinvolves upgrading multiple business-critical GIS applications from legacyGeocortex technology to the next-generation VertiGIS platform, whilemaintaining existing functionality and improving performance, accessibility,supportability, and integration capabilities.

This role requires a highly experienced project leadercapable of managing complex technology initiatives, coordinating diversestakeholders, overseeing budgets and schedules, and ensuring successful projectdelivery in a structured governance setting.

Key Responsibilities

Leadorganizational development, strategy development, business planning, andfunding-related activities.

Gatherand define requirements to create and maintain project schedules andintegrated project plans.

Monitorproject costs, forecasts, budgets, and reporting activities.

Manageproject scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.

Promoteproject management best practices and adherence to establishedmethodologies.

Leadproject teams to ensure successful and timely delivery of projectobjectives.

Coordinateproject processes and develop guidelines and procedures.

Source,onboard, and manage project resources across multiple disciplines.

Resolveresource and interpersonal conflicts while maintaining team effectiveness.

Establishrisk management strategies and proactively address project issues.

Presentissues, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior leadership.

Facilitatesteering committees and stakeholder governance forums.

Deliverproject, program,



and portfolio status reporting.

Supportorganizational change management throughout the project lifecycle.

Promoteproject governance, quality assurance, and effective use of technologyresources.

Required Qualifications
Project Management Experience

FormalProject Management training.

Experienceleading large, technically complex projects.

Experiencemanaging project risks, issues, schedules, tracking, reporting, anddelivery.

Experienceleading multidisciplinary teams involving business and technologystakeholders.

Communication Experience

Abilityto communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Experiencecoordinating business analysis activities and stakeholder engagement.

Technical Experience

Experienceleading GIS-based projects utilizing technologies such as ArcGIS Portaland ArcGIS Online.

Experienceleading IT infrastructure modernization and maintenance initiatives.

Experiencewith Microsoft Azure environments.

Public Sector Experience

Experiencedelivering projects within public sector environments.

Experiencecoordinating cybersecurity, architecture, and governance review processes.

Experienceleading implementation of enterprise technology solutions withingovernment organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

Experiencewith Esri-based geospatial solutions and GIS platforms.

Experiencewith GIS infrastructure, middleware,



databases, monitoring tools, andenterprise applications.

Experiencewith integrated networking technologies, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Spatial,Microsoft Fabric, enterprise storage, and related infrastructuretechnologies.

Knowledgeof PMBOK project management principles and methodologies.

Knowledgeof information management principles and practices.

Knowledgeof accessibility standards and compliance requirements.

Experienceevaluating technology solutions and supporting technology acquisitiondecisions.

Abilityto manage stakeholder expectations and resolve competing priorities.

Work Arrangement

Hybridrole with onsite requirements.

Expectedonsite presence: 5 days as required by project needs.

Successfulcandidate is expected to work continuously throughout the contractduration.
