We are actively looking for an experienced Lead Layout Designer to join our Minerals & Metals team at Ausenco. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in mechanical layout, particularly within EPC/EPCM environments. Skills in 2D and 3D design, along with proficiency in Autodesk software like AutoCAD, are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed mechanical layouts aligned with project needs
• Develop 2D layouts and contribute to 3D designs
• Produce layout drawings, criteria, and reports
• Manage layout teams,



ensuring adherence to schedules
• Oversee budget hours and manpower for projects

Requirements:
• Mechanical Engineering Technician diploma or equivalent
• 15 years’ experience in mechanical layout design
• Gold and Copper commodities experience required
• Proficient in Autodesk products, 2D and 3D
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
