Overview:

Our team is growing; we are looking at hiring a Delivery Driver/Yard Labourer for our Albion Quarry. The Ideal candidate will be delivering products (sand, gravel, etc.) on site in a triaxle, and to job sites as needed, and also be required to assist in the yard when needed. This position is Monday-Friday (occasional saturday’s) and expected to be 8-10 hour days.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliver internal materials to cement plant

Communicates in a friendly skilled manner with internal staff members

Operates and maintains company vehicle safely and efficiently

Follow all regulations for a CVOR vehicle, including a circle check

Handles all physical requirements for loading, transporting, and driving without assistance

Executes accurate and timely handling of delivery requests

Prepares accurate paperwork and records

Requirements:

DZ License

Labour experience required and driving experience with a trailer would be considered an asset.

Knowledge of the City and surrounding area roads





Must be able to lift tools that are 50 lbs. and above

Must be comfortable with working in all weather conditions

Wage Range:

The hourly range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $29.00 per hour and $31.00 per hour. However, the range offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
