Staff Product Manager at Pinterest. About the role In this pivotal position, you will spearhead the strategy and execution for the Client & Mobile Foundations team at Pinterest. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the infrastructure that underpins the Pinterest experience across various platforms, including iOS, Android, and the web. This role is crucial for boosting developer productivity, ensuring platform reliability, and refining the build and release processes for engineering teams.

What you'll do Formulate and implement a comprehensive multi-year strategy for the client platform, which encompasses shared architecture, libraries, and streamlined development paths.
Oversee the roadmap for mobile and web build systems, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, as well as release management tools.
Propel enhancements in reliability metrics, focusing on key indicators such as crash-free user rates, overall release health, code coverage, and performance benchmarks.
Design and deploy advanced tooling aimed at automating test generation and facilitating large-scale code migrations.
Establish metrics related to developer experience to pinpoint bottlenecks and assess the effectiveness of platform improvements.
Lead intricate technical migrations and system consolidations to minimize fragmentation across various client interfaces.
Collaborate closely with infrastructure teams and engineering leadership, while also providing mentorship to fellow product managers.
Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product goals and deliverables, fostering a collaborative environment.
Analyze user feedback and performance data to inform product decisions and prioritize enhancements.
Champion best practices in product management and agile methodologies within the team.
Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to drive innovation and gather input from diverse stakeholders.




Monitor industry trends and competitor offerings to stay ahead of the curve and inform strategic direction.
Requirements A minimum of 10 years of experience in product management or technical leadership, particularly in areas related to developer platforms, engineering productivity, or client infrastructure.
A solid track record of managing mobile or web build systems, CI/CD processes, release tools, or testing infrastructure.
Proven ability to enhance client quality metrics, including app size, performance, and crash rates.
Technical proficiency in mobile (iOS/Android) and web architectures, with the capability to assess trade-offs in collaboration with engineering teams.
Experience leading large-scale, multi-phase technical projects or system redesigns.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Nice to have Familiarity with LLM-powered or agentic developer tools, such as automated code generation or migration frameworks.
Possession of advanced degrees in relevant technical disciplines.
Previous experience in a fast-paced tech setting, particularly within a startup or high-growth company.
Skills & tools Expertise in mobile platform architecture (iOS/Android)
Knowledge of web platform foundations
Proficiency in CI/CD and release management systems
Experience with build infrastructure
Understanding of developer experience (DevEx) metrics
Familiarity with agentic or LLM-based automation technologies
Practical notes This position is hybrid, requiring in-office attendance 1-2 times per quarter.
